Louisiana State Police have identified Travis Gilmore as the suspect connected to a fatal hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of 26-year-old Brea Paul along Louisiana Highway 182 in St. Mary Parish. According to investigators with Louisiana State Police Troop I, troopers responded shortly before 6:30 a.m. Monday to reports of a deadly crash near Field Road along Louisiana Highway 182. When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered Brea Paul, a resident of Patterson, suffering from fatal injuries after being struck by a vehicle while walking along the shoulder of the highway.
