The community of Summerville is mourning the loss of Natasha Michelle Anderson, affectionately known to many as “Tasha,” who passed away at her residence on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the age of 47. Her death has brought deep sorrow to family members, friends, and longtime residents of Chattooga County who remember her as a devoted wife, loving mother, and compassionate presence whose life centered around family and the people she cherished most.
Born in Rome on November 24, 1978, Natasha Michelle Anderson was the daughter of the late Johnny “Buck” Roach and Jewel Dean Teems Roach. She spent her life in Chattooga County, where she became known for her warm personality, caring spirit, and dedication to her loved ones. As a homemaker, Tasha devoted much of her life to raising and supporting her children, a role those closest to her say she embraced with unwavering love and pride.
Friends and relatives describe Natasha Michelle Anderson as someone who found joy in the simple but meaningful parts of life. Her family was at the center of everything she did, and she treasured the time she spent creating memories with those she loved most. Alongside her passion for motherhood and family life, Tasha also enjoyed spending time with her dog and her jeep, interests that reflected her spirited personality and appreciation for life’s everyday moments.

In addition to her parents, Natasha Michelle Anderson was preceded in death by her father-in-law, James “Bud” Anderson, and her special uncle, Wallace Money. She is survived by her husband, Larry Anderson; her son, Cameron Anderson; and her daughter, Sophia Anderson, all of whom she loved deeply and supported wholeheartedly. She is also survived by her sisters, Cindy Evans and Lisa Williamson; her brother, Greg Williamson; her special aunt, Peggy Money; her mother-in-law, Kathleen Anderson; sisters-in-law Debbie Stewart and Judy Baldwin; as well as several nieces and nephews who continue to mourn her passing alongside the rest of the family.
Family and friends will gather to honor Natasha Michelle Anderson during a visitation scheduled for Monday, May 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory. According to the wishes of the family, a memorial service will be held at a later date as loved ones continue celebrating her life and legacy.
